*Crystal-Falls requested her to have a nighttime background with the aurora borealis, which I've never drawn before and holy hell! I re drew the background at least 10 times! I have no idea how people paint the aurora but that thing is difficult
Choosing colours for a night scene with a buckskin colour is really hard, too. I hope she still has a look of her about her, I did try to stick to her colours but I needed to play around with them a heap. So while I think it needs higher contrast, every time I painted deeper shadows it made her look very...silly and yellow? Which I couldn't understand because she has such a pretty colour, but there you go

Ooh, what a gorgeous piece! That aurora borealis is absolutely beautiful and I love how it gives so much depth to the background. *Crystal-Falls's character looks so lovely in your style, too, especially with her pretty mane and playful pose. Amazing work!
